Petrojet to launch 504 Ton Vacuum Distillation Tower and the 535 Ton Reactor

Petrojet is preparing to launch the 504 Ton Vacuum Distillation Tower and the 535 Ton Reactor for The Coker Complex Rehabilitation Project in SOPC Refinery in Suez.

Petrojet Central Fabrication Facility at Kattamia performed the entire fabrication of the two equipment, representing a breakthrough for fabrication of critical equipment of such dimensions for the first time in Egypt.

The 504 Tons Vacuum Distillation Tower was manufactured with a length of 51m and diameter of 8m out of 50mm Carbon Steel Plates cladded with 3mm of Stainless Steel in accordance with ASME U-Stamps License.

In cooperation with the Italian company “Walter Tosto”, Petrojet also succeeded in completing the entire fabrication of the project’s reactor, which is also considered a critical equipment due to its weight of 535 tons
